About Zephany

Zephany Andrews, Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Allow me to briefly reflect and reminisce concerning who I am and how I came to be the woman that I am today.

I felt the drawing of the Lord upon my life as a child. I spent many years as a preteen and beyond chasing an abundant life. Later, I discovered that my chase was futile. On November 2nd, 1987, my chase ended when my new abundant life began as I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord.

I was born in 1966, the youngest of five, and grew up in small community in McComb, MS. I completed my secondary education from McComb High School in 1984 then continued my undergraduate studies at Alcorn State University (BA), and Jackson State University. In 1988, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in English majoring in Broadcast Journalism. After spending the next 10 years being a Stay-at-Home Mom (if that is what it is called now), in 1999, I decided to pursue a career in Nursing from Greenville Technical College in Greenville, South Carolina.

In 2005, I graduated with my Associates Degree in Nursing. After returning to work outside the home part-time, I became restless, and wanted more, so I enrolled into the graduate program at University of Phoenix. In 2014, I completed my graduate studies and obtained my Master of Science in Nursing Education. I am a practicing Registered Nurse, an Assistant Professor of Nursing at my Alma Mater. In 2018, I felt that I was not finished, so I enrolled in Seminary at Liberty University with plans to continue my theological studies in 2020.

My heart-of heart: “With many achievements ‘under my belt’, that I could boast about, considering the privileges of knowing God through Christ, I would rather boast on Him and Kingdom matters.

I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord on the same day as my husband of three months. As stated, my abundant life began. From my marital union and commitment with my husband Terence, we have three Born-again sons, a daughter-in-law and two granddaughters.

Finally, as God continued to sow into my life and manifest Himself even greater, I discerned the call to preach and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, crucified, risen, and coming back again.  My husband, (Elder) and I attend and serve at a local church in our hometown in the South. As I fulfill God’s call on my life as a minister, God has divinely blessed me with the various Spiritual Gifts; my dominate gifts are Teaching, Exhortation, and Service. I have been blessed to preach the Gospel, teach leadership, discipleship, and evangelism training abroad in Haiti. My passion is teaching, preaching, and speaking to audiences in an expository and motivational way.

My life’s passion is guided by Jeremiah 9:23-24Thus says the LORD, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; 24but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things,” declares the LORD.” I would like to sum up my bio with: “Nothing matters outside of knowing God through obedience, sacrifice and humbly serving the kingdom with gladness.”

Come sit a while and join me as we embrace life and all it has to offer… the successes and the challenges. It is all part of God’s sovereign plan for our lives. It is just par for the course (life).

The journey flows…
Zephany
